Ali Velshi strikes again with an economic truth seldom told on cable

There are few cable or network news hosts willing to go where Ali Velshi goes economically and politically. He has the skill set necessary to get the point across without excessive offense to the sensibilities of the oligarchy.

as people struggle to bring the bills up to date if they have essential jobs. A hell of a lot of people out there are going to be out of work with absolutely no prospects. Oh, they can go into debt while they try to survive 2 years minimum to retrain, but that assumes they're not over 45 and manage to pick up training that will still be useful by the time they're out of school.

All of this is going to have a ripple effect. The stock market isn't immune, no matter how corporations keep trying tp pump their stocks through buybacks, retirees are going to balance that as they sell stocks to compensate for plunging dividends.

This mess is only getting started. It will get a lot worse before it can get any better.

I heard that somewhere a few months ago and it came back after hearing this show. Scary.

That brief message needs to echo across America every day until it sinks in. I love its simplicity and form.
