Mueller Explained: Lingering Questions about Mueller and his Report

Recurring questions about the Mueller investigation include: 1. Why didn't Mueller criminally charge more individuals, 2. Why wouldn't he announce that Donald Trump committed obstruction of justice offenses when his report clearly documented evidence constituting obstruction of justice, and 3. Why did Mueller's congressional testimony seem to fall flat. I try to answer these questions from my perspective of having worked with Mueller in the Homicide Section of the DC US Attorney's Office.

I thought we had a tough as nails Marine that was going to serve up some justice against the draft dodging coward, but he folded and appeared to fear some sort of Trumpian retribution. And to date he sits on the sideline and lets trump rip him a new one and insult him without retort. Pathetic.

WHY was it never published? They are hiding something, and treating us as though we are too dumb to notice. The Clinton report was published immediately, Starr even wrote his own version and published it. Nothing criminal was discovered, and believe me THEY turned over every stone to find SOMETHING. This report would expose the biggest crook ever to reside in the WH, and the gop does not want it exposed. Hey, gop WE KNOW he is a crook. This report was paid for with taxpayer money, and rightfully belongs to the taxpayers. Another shameful action by the shady and disgusting gop. Someone with authority should just release the entire, unredacted report. What have they got to lose, as the orange anus would say? It is past time for the republicans to act the same as democratic politicians. Ignore the (R) and the (D) do the right thing for the country, not the party.

they had trouble easily sorting the White Hats from the Black Hats - simply too many entanglements making fallout messy. Not to mention exposing sources and drying up contacts.

Glenn Kirschner may be one of a handful with the desire and skills to sort this out going forward. But will he be AG?

.....collusion with foreign a government to subvert our election had occurred, but I, Robert Mueller, am the consummate bureaucrat. What a good boy I am."
