I'd give this young man a high-five, but I can't reach that high...literally or figuratively!

What's your shooting percentage?
How many shots have you blocked?
Can you run in the transition?
What is your 3-point shooting percentage?
Can you play defense?
Are you a team player that the team can count on?

The kid down the street who has no role models and feels isolated and alone because of his orientation.
The girl down the street who's parents tell her she's no good unless she is straight.
The PFLAG supporting family that has dealt with too many parents ashamed of their own children.

I could make a huge list of who cares.

Seems like many don't care because they think acting indifferent, like they have already accepted gay people coming out 10 years ago makes them look progressive. It actually just makes them look belittling and blind to prejudice.

Marriage equality is going to happen whether you like it or not. And yep it was the satanic-muslim-socialist President Obama who started it when he evolved as stated by Collins.

Jason Collins comes out of the closet
New Zealand passes marriage equality
France passes marriage equality

the tidal wave of progress can not be stopped!
