2. Republican Platform Objectives will continue to tear down public schooling. The destruction of

public education is being brought about for the profiteering of tax dollars and to subjugate and divide the workforce.

Texas Example: for the 2013-14 school year, students will be allowed to follow a pathway to a graduating diploma in which college ready courses have been dropped. This path means that the student cannot go on to college. Talk about shitty jobs with low pay. What a future for Texas students that the taxpayers will probably have to subsidize (the WalMart/Walton corporate model). Now we are looking at a state full of under educated and non-living wage citizens. Perhaps these students will be schooled at a business or charter school.

The regular Diploma is still there.

Texans need to wake up.
