Last year, the top ten hedge fund managers in America made an average of one billion dollars a piece. Meanwhile, the average wage for America’s workers has been steadily declining for more than a decade. Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio talks to author Les Leopold about why American CEOs are getting million dollar paydays, while wages for their workers continue to decline.

A couple of years ago he was being badgered by reporters, and he angrily blurted out “Do you think they even know what a derivative is?”

To which my silent mental answer is always "Would they want to lynch you if you told them?"
