I wonder how our new austerity measure (oh excuse me, I meant the sequester) are affecting this sort of thing right now?

Where's the daily sound bites on this? This crime deserves (demands) attention just as does the Boston bombing, because if we do nothing it will be repeated again and again. And yes, this is what happens when we cut back on regulators and inspectors, and trust industry to regulate themselves.

At least on bail after questioning. Something.

If I stockpiled more than 60 gallons of gas in my shed, and it blew up and burned down the neighbor's house, I'd be arrested. No doubt at all.

Reminds me of an Iron Maiden song..

"Kill a man and you're a murderer, kill many and you're a conqueror, kill them all, you're a god"

I have no doubt that if Al Qaeda had been a for-profit corporation, we wouldn't have invaded Afghanistan. Instead, Osama bin Laden would have been on the cover of Fortune magazine and described as a "maverick".

Isn't that a crime anymore, or does it just apply now to individuals below a certain income bracket and not to "corporations?"
