Well, Robb, get your water wings ready! Why be surprised? We pretty much knew it would turn out this way. They embarass themselves, AND US, with this bs...and they don't seem to give a tinker's damn about what the polls tell them about how they are distrusted and disliked by the nation's people. That's why they were so surprised bt the Prez's re-election. They don't listen to normal people!

AFAIK nobody lost their seat in whatever Australian parliament because of the gun buy-back.
It was supported by all parties.
Only the usual gun nuts complained about it. Everybody else applauded.
Long live actual democracy.
