I can't put my finger on it, but think there's something in the Bible about this...

1. The only thing immoral, is the "christian bigotry"

They have a warped concept of morality; its not short hair and white shirts.

2. According to the words of the book they believe in, I guess the staff of FRC are all going to hell..

Revelation 21:8 "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

What was that last part about "all liars", Family Research Council members? Bring marshmallows when you come

3. I think if we are going to live in peace, we should not let scout troops be controlled by Adults

who can not resolve these fear based motivations to turn one another against each other....

4. What everyone needs to remember about the FRC...

1. They are a spin off of Focus on the Family so they could be more involved in politics (as if focus wasn't anyway).
2. They are Satan's own army, as nothing they stand for can be supported biblically.

OK for number 2, I have challenged people like they in letters, e-mails, and for those I know personally face to face to sit down and go through the republican party platform that they are so fond of and see how their stance on the issues line up with the bible.

So far, nothing. Not from bible school graduates or doctors of theology.
And my background...
I've read the bible and always scored well on the READING COMPREHENSION portion of standardized tests. I can only guess these people went to a religious school because they bombed the SAT.
