Papantonio: Independent Media Becoming Mainstream

Last edited Mon Apr 22, 2013, 02:42 PM - Edit history (1)

The following interview is from the April 21st, 2013 episode of Ring of Fire on Free Speech TV (http://www.freespeech.org/ringoffire). The traditional, mainstream media has been slowly dying for decades. And in its place, independent, non-profit media outlets are becoming the only source for honest, investigative reporting. Ring of Fire host Mike Papantonio talks about the importance of independent media with David Pakman, host of The David Pakman Show.

MSM sucks, and this gives me more hope it'll continue to be less relevant, but it's not happening fast enough for my tastes.

A fun "game" I like to play, is listening to people chatter about current events/issues and determine who is really well read and informed, and who is a MSM informed dunderhead. It's so obvious.

We've had over 70 views, 1 response before mine and only 3 recs!

WHAT is more important that getting unbiased news without big
corporate interests oozing out the seams of every newsroom?
I'm going to assume the reason for the poor response is that the
viewers didn't actually watch the video. Shame.

I for one watch Current & Free Speech all the time, Thom Hartmann, John Fuglesang, Pap on Ring of Fire, I hope other people will start watching.
