At least it appeared that way to me...cause could you imagine the chaos if only one in ten houses had one and a paranoid owner looking for the killer on the lose?...and cops everywhere?

What a bright, cogent, entertaining, informed and concerned young citizen we have there! Her heart and mind really seem to be invested.

She blows some stereo-types about young people today and we could all take note on her views and concerns. She is underscoring and emphasizing what will always remain important in an absolute way if we are to have any real liberty or justice again, someday in the future.

Thank you and a thousand recs.

Her handle is TokenlibertarianGirl, which puts an interesting slant on her presentation.

This video might be legit, but you should check out some of Tokenlibertariangirl's other videos. I watched one where she opposed the VAWA, and another where she makes the case that health care is not a right, even though people need health care in order to live.
This girl might be more informed compared to the typical Republican, but she seems to be another libertarian broken clock.

I have watched her other videos, but she is someone I could debate with based on her enthusiasm alone.

My reaction about the video here stands and she expresses herself well, regardless of what I disagree with on other issues.

She has bought into Ron Paul, but how many alternatives were there? I'll bet she could have some interesting discussions due to her awareness and in spite of her current bias.

people's medicine cabinets and hard drives Friday, I think this is off-base. The purpose of the house to house was to ensure that no one was being held hostage by the suspect and/or that the suspect wasn't hiding on private property.

The lockdown of the entire Boston area makes little sense unless there was a possibility that more than two people were involved in placing bombs. It was a public safety measure.

people are just on edge when it comes to their civil liberties now and are becoming very protective. The internet and especially Youtube has documented case upon case of those liberties being abused and it has become a problem in my opinion.

Just in case they are being held hostage in their apartments. There may have been a third accomplice. He could be anywhere in the state.

This woman needs to brush up on her firearms.
bullets from assault 'style' rifles have a tendency to penetrate through walls.
So shots fired in your home could easily hit the neighbor's house of someone on the street.
Or a loved one in another room.

But the rest is right on.

No one is saying you can't have a gun in your house for self defense.
