Watch this video then SIGN PETITION to save kids' park from evil privatization!

Petition http://www.tinyurl.com/SAVESPORTSPARK
Hello, I hope to inform many DUers about the situation here in this idyllic small beach town concerning a proposal by the city council to privatize the only public park, which would force poor families to pay fees to use it. Currently the park has baseball fields for Little League and Bobbysox softball and a free skate park. The city is proposing to turn over management of the park to the YMCA, which admits that there will be fees for the skaters and increased fees for the Little League. The skate park was built only two years ago with a grant from the Tony Hawk Foundation explicitly so that it would be free. The citizens are fighting it and making alternative proposals but there are signs that some corrupt backroom deals have already been made. We are putting the pressure on so PLEASE get everyone you know to sign our petition. Link and more info below.
