8 Year follows Tennessee lawmaker in protest of proposed legislation

Watch this and notice the language of this POS. He says "decent parents". He doesn't respond to question of the definition of "decent". What a scumbag. I'll bet you he did not conduct one hearing or analysis of how to best get parents involved in helping their kids in learning. Not one f'ing hearing. Not one f'ing conference of any kind. Period. He just pulled this stuff out of his rear end or put his finger in the wind. These kind of politicians make me want to

Fortunately, the bill was yanked, but if you're in Tennessee you can expect they will introduce it again. Not familiar with the politics of that state, but I can guess it has its share of asshats.

Why can't at least one state in the South set an example in a positive way--based on teacher reports, conferences, THE STUDENTS THEMSELVES, and academic research showing good alternatives to involving parents. Bravo to this young student who went to the state capital and got in this jerks face. I hope more students do this when another POS legislator thinks they know the answer to solving problems education. I get furious when jerks like this don't show consideration to either the students or parents. If you're a parent, you should too.

Bachmann routinely flees from adult reporters, while this guy is trying equally hard to evade an 8-year old child, and then tops it off with an insult. I guess he really showed her! Hopefully his constituents will give him a closer look come the next election.
