I was watching last night and had to turn it off. What a horrible representative them Catholics have in this guy. Meh.

The real issue is not what this or that religion followers believe. They may believe whatever they want to. The issue is that they can not force other people to adder to their religious believes. They want to go the easy way by trying to make the laws according to their religion instead of going to preach and convince the individual. Jesus never went to Pontius Pilate to require him to put laws favoring his preachings. Jesus convince people to follow him. He did not force then to do it. He explicitly pointed it out by saying:

"Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's"
