Gordon Klingenschmitt's HILARIOUS interview with David Pakman about gay marriage and Jesus

Found this via Upworthy, which explains:

It really feels like anti-gay-marriage arguments have been circling the drain for the past few years, and David Pakman's interview with a former Navy chaplain only further proves that point. From delusional polling data at 1:27, to an argument about the religious importance of biology at 4:49, to a ridiculous "three women and a dog" comment at 6:21 ... it really seems like nothing substantive stands between gay marriage and legalization in the United States. For a bonus, stick around until 7:48 to hear the only way to become a homosexual ... according to this interviewee.

These people are the core of fundamentalist thinking and they hold their preferred translations of translations of a collection of stories above everything else - INCLUDING their "god". Its just sickening to watch them go through contortion after contortion to get to their preferred conclusions - "god" said it, I believe it, that settles it.

Sad, sad, sad...and anyone who truly believes that people are recruited to "teh gay" need to be called out as the bigoted fools they are.

They quote 3 - 6 in bold below

3 Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?”
4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’
5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?
6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

But they never read the rest of it:

7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.
9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
10 The disciples said to him, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.”
11 Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given.
12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”

Jesus talked of marriage between a man and a woman in Mathew 3 through 6 to answer a trick question from the Pharisees. The Pharisees defined the question as limited to a man and a woman NOT Jesus. Jesus did not say only man and woman may marry. He was merely answering a question.

But if you are going to assume Jesus was only talking about a man and a woman because he believed only a man and a woman could get married (Though he was merely answering using the parameters established by the Pharisees' legalistic question.) then you need to know that he also mentions divorce as being adultery and that eunuchs are acceptable. So why then are these supposed literal interpretors of Mathew not promoting eunuchs as the only acceptable way of life and why are they NOT condemning divorce?????
