That how you give the boots to a despicable person who ruled with despicable ideas and values.

shame Jackson for criticizing Thatcher when, he thinks, they should only be paying tribute to her. What I loved was not just the way he slapped down the conservative member, but also the extremely meticulous Britishness of his tone. It was hilarious!

You just don't hear that in the states.

We use "Scotch tape". My Italian relatives just use "Scotch". It must get confusing when they want a stiff drink.

unlike Thatcher. And unlike Blair too, with his "New Labour", which just capitulates to the Conservatives. And opposed to the Iraq War and Blair's idiotic pursuit of it.

So love her in "Turtle Diary" too.

continue full-throttle and semi-throttle in America.

We've become such a cruel country and I never thought we'd let it get this far.

So glad Glenda got the reminder of those realities into their public record.

Latest news is that those "dancing on the grave" celebrations at the demise of Margaret Thatcher are growing to "riot levels." Thatcher may have been an "iron lady," but she was also a much despised one.

Wish we had someone equally articulate to denouce the cruelty of Ronald Reagan here in this country.
