He makes me gag. Time to move on down the road to permanent retirement so someone from your state can actually govern and the citizens can be represented.

if any of the Sandy Hook parents have even tried to meet with McConnell and demand he explain his actions to their faces? It would probably be a futile effort, he'd just run away and hide in the Senate Men's Room.

I'm tempted to say "bodies" but I can't imagine the horror that would put them through. But it's a horror those asshole filibusterers should be put through.

Why is it so hard for the majority of the population to see the obvious; this nation is no longer a refuge for the poor, the uneducated, or any other segment of poverty? In spite of how people of "other" impoverished nations see the United States. This nation is not able to address poverty as a serious dilemma that is, in addition to other pressing problems, gradually sapping the economic strength from our political will. This nation has long lost it's way because the focus was attaining and maintaining vast amounts of material wealth to the detriment of those on whose backs wealth was attained. We became arrogant is our quest to gain more through warfare via the military industrial complex. The WASP dominated Republican Party is daily revealing it's core values of disdain for the poor by various state legislative agendas as they experience the death throes of a dying body no longer relevant to most; even their own.

...I would run ads suggesting the gun lobby was willing to crucify crime victims, including children. That's not such a radical image. See the December 2012 article below by Garry Wills.

Being "used". Sorry, but I live in CT and the parents have been outspoken for a long time on the local news. No one used them, they have been through hell due to gun violence.
