But, lest we forget, Bubba Clinton, another New Democrat, negotiated NAFTA, an end of Aid to Families with Dependent Children, repeal of the Glass-Stegall Act and support for the Commodity Futures Modernization Act. Of course he was very progressive on civil rights issues except when he signed DOMA and divided the baby with Don't Ask Don't Tell, and still, the Repugs impeached him over a BJ, and Democrats, including me, fought for him. Go Figure
