. . . could be loved by so many and could gain such stature apart from his critiques.
For me, he was part of enjoying movies. A cultural treasure.
I feel enriched to have been on the same planet as he.

(1,675 posts)I e-mailed Roger back in the Compuserve days of the early 90s asking him for information about possible sequels to "The Gods Must Be Crazy." I was pleasantly surprised when he kindly responded back to me. His words above demonstrate further admirable traits. We were/are kindred spirits. May he rest in peace. I'll miss him.
