Beckel ‘Infuriated’ By Dr. Carson’s ‘Racist White Liberal’ Comments: ‘You Are Not That Important'

Tuesday afternoon, Fox News’ The Five took on Dr. Ben Carson‘s controversial interview with conservative radio host Mark Levin, in which Carson called his “white liberal” detractors “the most racist people there are.” Those words in particular got under host Bob Beckel‘s skin and he let Carson know just how “infuriating” he found them.

Recalling his “liberal” father, who he said was arrested 57 times during the Civil Rights Movement, Beckel attacked Carson for minimizing the left’s fight for racial equality. “For Dr. Carson to make that kind of statement shows he doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” he said. “It’s an attack on the very heart of what many liberals believe in. He is the last person that I’m going to take that from.”
