Slick, Paranoid Tea Party Video Aims for Violent Insurrection

Fear walks the land, and the Tea Party Patriots are here to package and sell it.

http://www.alternet.org/tea-party-and-right/slick-paranoid-tea-party-video-aims-violent-insurrection

. The video, a thinly veiled advertisement for violent insurrection from the “Tea Party Patriots" group, boasts professional acting and Hollywood production values. But underneath its bright, professional sheen lurk dark overtones of End Times paranoia that will resonate with millions of American fundamentalists. Its apocalyptic imagery is as ancient as Revelations, its glossy look as modern as a Revlon ad, and its near-subliminal barrage of rapid-cut imagery rings with the terror-fueled sermons of 1,000 preachers.

Who are the “Tea Party Patriots”? For a group that’s stoking fear of shadowy organizations, they’re pretty shadowy themselves. They refuse to disclose their funding sources. There’s a paranoid strain to their style, which extends to their co-founder who was forced to resign after being arrested for bringing firearms onto an airplane.

That paranoid style even extends to the Tea Party Patriots website. The site is closed to all non-members, and registration must be pre-approved by the group’s leaders.

LOL, but you gotta love them using a barcode scanner on a QR code, which was developed as an alternative to using a barcode scanner.

Okay, my geekiness is showing . . .

100% Grassroots, 100% of the Time that is one of their taglines ...I just do not think so....

..but who knew?? FEAR
I thought the bar codes = the sign of the devil - guess they are just trying to keep up with the times and now the QR codes are the devil's work. but showed the confusing scanning for the slower people in tech transition to relate to ......Wait til the new visual image QR codes show up on their favorite products....maybe they will be scared enough to stay inside!!....or take up a torch...

who knows...

5. If you have a rat problem are you going to remove your food or corn food for your livestock? No.

You are going to remove the takers/rats. So is the removal target, women and children paying for food with a food stamp card in the grocery store, going to be removed through violence according to the video?

Does a leader or does a hungry stomach cause you to stand in line to check out your basket of food at the grocery store? Brainwashing.

Boxes of food being handed out in low income areas stopped several years ago and a food stamp card was issued instead. In the past, all Americans were eligible to get, agricultural over produce bought by the USDA, for free just for picking it up; like excessive cheese.

Only sociopathic nuts superimpose the past hate and the now hate, at the same time. In my opinion, the video is a portrayal of extremists living the past over and over again with loss of reality. Stress is a killer. They need relief in the form of political conservatism.

I'm now going to take a stand with my fellow libertines and return this country back to its primordial values. You know, when the limbic system ruled.

Mmmmm. The limbic system.

BS 100% of the time more like it
but when conversing with the non enlightened they will always say if only Occupy had been more like the tea party. You have to give those tea party folks props for all the organizing they did . They are a successful national grassroots movement. Just ma 's and pa 's small donations and hard work.

I try to explain it is not, but lose folks who cant think differently than the bagger's hype they have spread well and often.

Article says they divulge no funding info so who knows details of where the $$ is from

Looks like "Left Behind" meets "V." I just can't figure out what the teabaggers are so afraid of. Everybody has a debit card now days...and besides, V was better - it had David Icke-style aliens instead of soshulists.

14. This is the 'Tea Party 2' that Charles Koch threatened Obama with. You better believe he did this.

The video description talks about the generation now in their 20s and 30s who grew up with these apocalyptic horror movies that were pushed by their churches who this resonates with because of conditioning.

Issac Aguigui comes to mind as a homeschooled kid who was an RNC page and joined the military to train for this version of jihad against evil government and godless liberals.

He was isolated, a weapon in the hands of those who are working to overthrow the government and install a theocracy. That is what this film is about, killing the unbelievers.

This is the Koch brothers, Ayn Rand RW libertarian propaganda which surrounds many people and gives the GOP power to pass draconian laws on the sinners and moochers so defined by RWNJs.

They've flooded the nation with weapons and voices in media to make a constant mantra in the heads of people who simply don't see any difference between this and reality.

This is political psychopathy101. I can't imagine this as not appealing to the youth in Germany pre-WW2.
