(13,539 posts)many of the really important ones will take advantage of it though.
Another thing is that if President Romney ( I just threw up in my mouth) did an interview on MSNBC, they would not interrupt him and treat him with total disrespect the way FOX "News" did Obama.

(9,895 posts)There is absolutely no doubt that the O'Reilly barking at the president like that was a racial dog whistle to the entire "base"...that was Bill-O the Clown walking right up to the line of "uppity" and "well-spoken Negro" and flat out calling President Obama "Boy".
Throw in that motherfucker who shouted out "You Lie" DURING THE GODDAMN STATE OF THE UNION and the birthers and their bullshit, and comments about having good relationships with "the" blacks from dishrags like Trump and others and right up to the jag-off fool talking about "wet backs" just last week...its a clear as the nose on my face. I am just amazed that Fox has not actually sent someone on air (YET) in full KKK robes and hood and burned a fucking cross for the logo.

(10,893 posts)who exactly are "the blacks" that Trump has such a wonderful relationship with, anyway. Does he mean Jack Black and Rebecca Black?

(7,968 posts)I guess MSNBC is "left" for American but really on the world scene maybe not so much.
No real left-leaning outlet would've ever hired Scarborough or S.E. Cupp in the first place. Them having a few primetime liberal hosts doesn't mean much at all.

Which, as you note, is something different from the network as a whole "lean(ing) left".
Particularly when one includes the quite non-liberal Morning Joe, a three-hour block every weekday morning that often serves as a prime distributor of conservative talking points served up at morning prime time for Washington-based staffers, show bookers, producers -- the people who decide (or effectively wind up deciding) who and what gets talked about on political punditry programs.

(579 posts)fair and balanced. MSNBC represents the left, there is no misrepresentation there, whereas Faux News pretends to be fair and balanced and trashes everything Democratic. They're not even honest enough to admit they represent the "right" and that they'll go as far as making up stuff just to make the left look bad! I couldn't stand to watch 1 minute of Faux.
And MSNBC is honest enough to say it's "The Place For Politics" while Fox has the balls to use the word News.
