Little boxes, little boxes...........
Soaring skyscrapers of little boxes: Extraordinary images of the 'living cubicles' that are homes to millions of Hong Kong citizens
Can you believe these are actually apartments? The stunning images of Hong Kong living cubicles that look just like Borg cubes.
These mind-boggling images capture the scale of soaring apartment blocks in one of the world's most densely populated areas; Hong Kong.
As home to a population of more than seven million crammed into an area measuring just 424 square miles, space in Hong Kong is at a premium.
It means that, when it comes to providing accommodation for Hong Kong's huge population, the only way to go is up.

(15,682 posts)I was ready to suggest your (animal) comment and link were in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Thinking you were comparing animals' homes to people's.
My apologies for even thinking that. The link shows possibly the worst "housing" I've ever seen. Worse even than any huts or shacks I've seen in the poorest parts of Mexico. There is something so incomprehensibly demoralizing about the cages these poor souls live in - that they actually pay to live in. I'm sick over this. Just sick.
