That’s Why They Call It A Police State | David Glenn Cox

David Glenn Cox -- World News Trust

Mar. 20, 2013

Understand this... the politics you knew as a child or even the politics you knew before the 2000 election, no longer exist.

There is only one political party in this country, the Money Party. All politicians must appease the Money Party. Your Congressman or Senator might come across back home as an arch Conservative or a Liberal environmentalist, but in the halls of power there isn't a dime's worth of difference between them.

As a population, we live with an overload of inputs: 9-11, the wars, shootings and endless carnage brought about by the political philosophies of those in our government, who are neither Republicans nor Democrats.

Politically I am a Socialist. I used to be a Democrat and I never left the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me (Us). This New Great Depression has afflicted our economy for four years now. It has put tens, if not hundreds of millions of Americans into economic distress and Barack Obama's answer to all of this has been the same nswer as that derived by Herbert Hoover.

"Economic depression can not be cured by legislative action or executive pronouncement" ~ Herbert Hoover

Partisan rhetoric about the effects of Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal aside, in eight years the American workers had recovered their prosperity. These workers had the right to join a labor union and they had a Social Security income to depend upon, to build a decent retirement.

that someone would actually have to report this at all. It seems strange that some would even find it to be a revelation.

Well, there will be no announcement on the corporate news about the police state because that would be telling and so the sanitized Simulation continues to befuddle, omit and redirect the masses since, well, if it is on TV it must be true and revelatory, right?

"Good evening viewers! Well it is official! You are now living in a police state. Polls show that Americans are equally divided about the benefits of what some are calling the "American Gestapo." Fifty-percent say that anything that will protect our way of life and make us safe is worth whatever we have to go through or give up. The other fifty-percent, who will be carefully monitored for their own safety, feel that the merger of corporations and state are nothing more than Fascism and freedom has become nothing more than a myth purveyed as reality by corporate propaganda to cover-up its stranglehold. And now, a word from our bosses .... eh ... sponsors."

That writing is On-the-Wall for those willing to read the bad news.

The scary part is that things for the majority of Americans will get much worse before
the Working Class & The Poor realize WE have more in common with each other
that we have in common with the 1% and their paid employees in Washington.

Our neighbors in Latin America have given us a Blue Print for reclaiming our government.

VIVA Democracy!
WE outnumber THEM.
They stay in power only because WE let them.

Nazi Germany was a police state, Pinochet's Chile was a police state, North Korea is a police state.

Somebody has been watching too many Alex Jones videos.

"Tyranny is HERE! The grim future foretold in 1984 has become reality. The United States is now recognized globally as one of the most oppressive police states"
- Police State 4: The Rise Of FEMA (available at prisonplanet.com)

are pepper sprayed, charged at with horse riding cops, beat up and arrested then, yes, we are a police state. The cops arent killing protesters- yet. The violence slowly escalates, and eventually the will.

Some protestors killed police and others. It was a relatively short span of time. Things quieted down as the war ended. Just because it's new to some, doesn't mean this is now Nazi Germany. It's a consistent part of societal change.

...at any given time, with 1/5 of adults having been jailed at some point... that is a police state. Add ubiquitous, unchecked surveillance and new powers to kill American 'enemies' without trial and I think there can be no question.

American police have been militarized, a trend that goes back to the 1980s.

I think what confuses you is the veneer afforded by relatively greater material plenty. But we are just barely hanging on to that now; When it recedes from our grasp, so will the ability to openly banter on even tame sites such as this.

Things will become at once more simple and complex, but nothing is written in stone.

If all that supports the system is gone something else will take its place and that is unknown. Humans have seen terrible eras and survived as a species, for better or worse.

Not all will survive, neither will our loved ones or anything we love. There is no security in life, never has been, no promise or rescue, only acts of individuals to help others, whatever occurs.

It is you who are counting on the continuance of material plenty, not me, to build a fantastic 'prison planet.' There are venues of life that will be shut down, as others open.

The state will never be all powerful, it is not that way even now, as we see LEO's being killed on the streets and in their homes, and police departments and cities going under. This is entrophy.

What destroys can free us of some things at the same time. Don't believe the hype about the end times or the 'NWO.' It's falling apart, rearranging itself as we speak, we will adjust, and those who refuse, will hide and die.

This is history, it's nothing new. I won't feed the energy which believes 'total enslavement' is inevitable. Because it is not.

Peace Out.
