Triple Shooting in Oakland Leaves One Dead

Source: KGO RADIO, San Francisco

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- A triple shooting in Oakland has left one person dead and two others hospitalized.

Residents reported hearing gunfire on 53rd Street -- just down the street from Oakland's Children's Hospital -- around 9:30 p.m Friday night.

The Contra Costa Times reports that police have identified the slain victim as 19-year-old Ceejay Reed. They're offering a $20,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the gunman.

Last night's shooting happened about a block away from where a young mother was shot and killed in front of her 4-year-old son Wednesday. Police haven't said whether the two cases are connected.

A Gungeoneer told me that. We should be celebrating. After all, think of all the people who haven't gotten shot today.

It has it's bad neighborhoods and this kind of violence isn't rare. Why bring this up as if it's rare? The problem is pretty bad in those neighborhoods but the media isn't that interested because of the predominant color in those neighborhoods. Black and Brown.

The Gun be damned..
Its the Violence that is the issue...
So many using that Gun as the cure for what every their problem is..
Many here are legally armed to the teeth.. It makes no difference at all... These Folks follow the Law and respect the City..

The Gangs run the streets here and many other places in America..
This has been the root of all the evil here in Pomona California.
We have had over nine Dead and several more wounded by Drive By Shooting just this month alone.
