Pipe Bomb Found, Detonated By Bomb Squad in Miami Beach

A Bomb Squad detonated what's believed to be a pipe bomb that was found in Miami Beach Tuesday morning, officials said.

The suspicious item was found on the boardwalk in the 4100 block of Collins Avenue by officers who were patrolling in the area, Miami Beach Police spokeswoman Det. Vivian Hernandez said.

Police closed off nearby streets as the Miami-Dade Police's Bomb Squad was called in, Hernandez said.

The Bomb Squad detonated the item and no one was injured, Hernandez said.

1. Why are there so many losers out there?

Seriously, why are there so many people willing to be violent in a copy cat way? It's like they see somebody else has attention and they have to have it too.

2. I can think of at least two reasons, both stemming back to Reagan:

1) The defunding of public education in the US.
2)The defunding of mental health institutions in the US.

There are probably other reasons, but those are the biggest ones that come to mind first.
