Rand Paul Considering 2016 Presidential Bid; Planning Iowa Visits

Source: KCRG TV - ABC Affiliate

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky says he is considering a presidential campaign in 2016 but will not make a decision before next year.

Paul says at a breakfast sponsored by The Christian Science Monitor that he wants to be part of the national debate and being considered a potential candidate gives him a "larger microphone" on issues.

Paul plans to travel to early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire this spring and South Carolina this summer as part of the process.

He says he is "considering it" but "we won't make a decision before 2014."

Love to see another gang of incompetent clowns positioning for a GOP primary!
Give "Sarah from the North" a call while you're at it and see if you can hook up together!

C'mon, Rand, go for it! You'll get some votes from your father's followers who are too dense to realize you're a different person, and you'll give the rest of us some laughs.

Along with an easy Democrat win, maybe his "civil liberties" and drones push can actually get us back to the policies we stand for.

The video of him saying to Rachel Maddow that he would have voted against the Civil Rights Bill should help his Democratic opponent get the 5% of the black vote that we missed in 2012.
