Plane brought back to gate at Logan Airport

Source: Myfoxboston.com

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Sources told FOX 25 there was an American Airlines flight that was headed to Chicago. There were two men on that plane – not sitting next to each other – and speaking Arabic.

There were some concerned marathoners on the flight so the plane was brought back to the gate and the two men were escorted off the plane.

No other details were immediately available.

Were they traveling together or not? Were they deliberately separated? Did they have to talk loudly in order to hear each other? Or did they just get caught in a dragnet of anyone "Arab-looking" leaving Boston?

But there is an indication that American Airlines as a whole has been experiencing technical difficulties.

This story should have been left on the stove to cook a little more.

(as opposed to Farsi, BeriBeri or Kurdish) then they should have known enough to understand what they were saying.

media culture and laziness to educate people.

My wife's mother is half Lebanese (catholic religion) and the culture my wife was raised in in America. So was Jamie Farr of MASH and Danny Thomas just to name a couple people.

Instead of our media educating people that extremist of various religions are around the world we should not blame all this on one culture like we want to.

on a flight I was on a few years ago. 6 men speaking Arabic and wearing traditional garb. Plane was delayed, taken back to the gate. Lots of DHS agents running up and down the aisle. Turned out the 6 were visiting guests of the US State Department.

Besides, if they actually were going to something terroristic, would they have been that obvious about it?

I would hope authorities wouldn't just take someone off a plane because they speak Arabic. If they were terrorists responsible for a crime this fresh, I would think they would try not to speak in Arabic, unless they are really stupid, in which case they'll get caught and yay, good, great.

OTOH, I want the perps caught ASAP and brought in alive.

If they want to inconvenience someone else because of their fixed stereotypes and paranoia, they should also be subjected to the same delay and having their names put "into the system". Just in case.

The perps are likely long gone, or awaiting surreptitious exit.

They keep focusing on photos taken near the time of the incident.

The ordinance may have been placed half an hour, or hours before,
by people in disguises.

I think the video cameras of local businesses will help authorities solve
the crime.

They will get them. No doubt there.

This kind of stuff really gets me on a rant quick. The blanket stereotypes piss me off. The "they have brown skin and speak funny so they must be bad" bullshit is the WRONG way to go about it. Same thing with this poor kid in Boston that was TACKLED when running away from the scene. He was brunt and hurting, scared and running like everyone else but was jumped and dragged to the cops because because he "looked different" and now, no matter what, people are going to look at him like he did something wrong when he didn't. Not the way to react to this situation.
If I were a betting man I'd wager that this job was homespun by white, right-wing fascist.
Time will tell.

after posting his home address, apartment number, name and photo of his roommate, in the National media. THe police are now saying (as a footnote to some articles right now) that he was a "victim" in the "wrong place at the wrong time." Which begs the question? Oh, so it's the "wrong place" for anyone of Middle Eastern descent to be near a crime scene?

Also, they were questioning a female Saudi medical student in the hospital, who was also wounded, and found to be not involved. Wonder if they're tracking down all the angry looking old white guys with Tea Party stickers on their trucks.
