Texas attorney general: Democrats ‘far more dangerous’ than nuclear-armed Kim Jong Un

Source: Raw Story

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott (R) warned Republicans this week that President Barack Obama’s administration and some Democrats in Texas were “far more dangerous” than North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who has reportedly threatened to blow up Austin with nuclear weapons.

At a Monday meeting of the McLennan County Republican Club in Waco, Abbott said the president would be jeopardizing the Second Amendment rights of Americans if he signed a United Nations arms treaty that is designed to regulate the sell of military weapons like tanks, aircraft, missiles and small arms.

In a letter to the White House earlier this month, the Texas attorney general threatened to sue the federal government if the treaty was ratified.

“We fought a war in 1776 to fight against foreign dictators telling us what to do, not now to turn around and give that power to them,” Abbott said on Monday, according to the Waco Tribune. “That’s why I sent a letter to the president … informing the president that Texas is not going to tolerate this cession of authority to the U.N.”

Any book about LBJ in 1964 is worthless.

Go get the first of Robert Caro's books on LBJ, "The Path To Power" and then you will just begin to start to understand LBJ and Texas. After, you will go out and get the next three books in his Tetralogy (I had to look that up. Trilogy = 3. Tetralogy = 4) and you will devour them too.

His third volume, "Master of the Senate", was required reading on the Hill after it came out.

Crazy people like me devour and yearn for Caro's books like others did the Harry Potter series. We are awaiting his fifth and final volume that will cover the Vietnam years (making his series a pentology).

..... he had either family or friends who helped to put rented cows on W's
faux farm just before W would come for a visit. Barbs did not like the smell
of cow shit so they didn't spread the manure on the fields and the cows were
just guests.

BTW all the media had to have known it was a big scam but not one member of

back in 2009. Its report cited "right"-wing extremist groups as the source of most danger and most threats against America. And the wrong-wingers yowled so loud that Janet Napolitano retracted the report.

She shouldn't have done ANY such thing. She should have released it again, then and there!

is not in the jurisdiction of the Attorney General of the state of Texas.

If he were a U.S. Senator he would have some say in ratifying treaties,
and in declarations of war.

I guess it's a Texas ego? One man from Texas told me that people
forget that Texas was just about a country at one time. So this
King thinks he can tell the President and the U.N., and by implication
other countries, what to do.

Let's face it, only New York City is allowed to conduct foreign policy
in the name of the United States.

This fucking asshole needs to understand that HALF of us in Texas are Democrats and YES they have gerrymandered our fucking voting power, but we are here and he just called us terrorists and these teabillies will take it that they can kill us simply because we tend to disagree politically.

I won't say what I wish would happen to this motherfucker...but I am sure thinking it.

was a deliberate attempt to kill as many perceived liberals as possible by someone who has listened too long to this Rwanda-like demonization of anyone to the left of Bob Dornan and his ilk.

They keep ginning up hate against us. And their minions take it to heart and act - again and again and again. And we are like the frog in the pot of water - it's happening gradually, and we are clueless about what they are doing.

i`m sure there`s plenty of room up here in illinois for texans who wish to leave.

it`s obvious that republicans in texas will never let a democrat be elected to any position of power in the state.
unless the federal government decides to go after states who are restricting the ability register and to vote we will have more states like texas.
