Rep. Michele Bachmann will attend the funeral of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher Wednesday as part of a small congressional delegation, CNN reported Monday.

Bachmann invoked Thatcher during her presidential run. In an ad released on the eve of the Iowa caucuses last January, Bachmann presented herself as America's "Iron Lady" and appeared next to a portrait of Thatcher.
