Up to 12 civilians - 10 children and two women - are reported to have been killed in a Nato air strike in eastern Afghanistan.

A further six women are believed to have been injured in the incident in Shigal district, Kunar province.

this war should have been over 10 years ago, at minimum. How many innocents have died since then?

The "War On Terror" is endless. They should have formed a bank and we would have sent them money instead of bombs.

...leading to the deaths of a lot of innocent people and the bitterness from that eventually leads to 9/11 being committed by a group of Saudi's. Today they are facilitating the bloody consolidation of Afghanistan, leading to the deaths of a lot of innocent people.

What will happen years from now?

Maybe when Afghans finally do attack Americans, perhaps decades from now, the US will respond by bombing Canada or something.

running our government? Since when?

What is it we're not seeing?

Does it come down to the fact we, ourselves, are in danger, if we protest this too much?

Or children of suspected militants.

Or something. Whatever.

Look at it this way: now we can buy more bombs. They're job creators!

It's All About the Resources: Must Grab them for the MIC, No Matter the Human Cost

Yes. The MIC will bamboozle soldiers and diplomats to fight hard for that fortune in minerals that are the treasure of Afghanistan.
As I told an American diplomat who was home visiting: "You said things are getting better in Afghanistan, you mean they are all dead so we can get at the minerals? Don't think we are too dumb to know what you are really doing over there. And get out, just get out!
If you were a moral person you would quit your job and just get out!" What a sickening moral disaster over there!

But Americans deep down know that what is going on over there is Evil. They distract themselves with sports, booze, drugs, shopping and overblown holidays. This distracts them from their poverty and they enjoy the banal offerings of popular culture.

Last night I saw crowds swarming into our now privatized soccer stadium to pay a rich man to see a game in the cold rain. If only I could get those crowds to an anti war demonstration! The crowds that show up at a Fun Run, if only they were marching for something that really mattered.

I had just come from a play entitled The Arabian Nights and at the end of this delightful set of folk tales, the characters laid down and the sound of jet bombers over Baghdad was heard overhead. I raised my fist in the air. Others in the audience did not seem to notice what that represented. Am I alone?

I feel so bad for their parents!

Desperately sad - its a war and these things happen. The sooner security is handed over the Afghans, the better. This should have ended years ago.
