We still need to rid our country of the Electoral College system.

Putin saw it as a weakness in our government, and stuck it to us.
The Electoral College was supposed to help us with "intelligent votes" and keep our country safe from nuts and fanatics being put into office?—yet when we pleaded to those in the EC, they told us to fuck off.
Go away, electoral college.

The number of Reps in the House. Population dense states who are low dollar recipients of Fed Gov dollars in comparison to high contributions need greater Representation. It actually makes government smaller in terms of citizen access. It enables a middle class family in NJ that is struggling with property taxes to demand that red state schools in the South educate their children at the same level. How? A few more reps voting against the expansion of education spending unless schools that are dependent on Fed taxes drop entirely religious based and race based education if they want money for math books.

A representative should have no more than 100,000 in their district. It should more resemble a Canadian parliamentary riding. Much more "grass roots", as they say. Plus it is harder for lobbyists to influence a larger legislative body.

These days it does not make sense to suggest that states should vote to decide who is president. This is supposed to be a Democracy not a State-ocracy!
