It boggles my mind that the U.S. is okay with all this Russian involvement in our elections.

Unbelievable. Just boggles my mind. Do U.S. citizens no longer care about our country? Have they put content and advice from Fox news that far above their own country—and their own well-being?
I seriously have doubts that we can rise above this any time soon—unless some strong left-leaning leader comes forward and is able to convince the country they've been hog-washed. Even that would only happen after we've suffered through some serious crap: depression, war—or even something painful but lighter like sanctions.
May the God(s) help us get through the next decade.

who got royally screwed over by the Russians represent a lot more people who are very much not okay with it.

As for those others on the right, many have to be working hard to sustain a facade of rationality over their insane partisanship. Admitting a problem with the Russians would be to put a big crack in it, so deny, deny, deny. But that doesn't mean it's okay with them either.

C Moon, we have to get away from the stupid, dysfunctional notion that we're unhappy IF THE PRESS REPORTS we are and that if the press doesn't report it we're not. Wanna join the resistance? For most of us, that has to start by freeing our minds from control by corrupt idiots who like their jobs way too much to do them properly. Turn. The. TV. Off.

I haven't watched any news on tv in a long, long time—with the rare exception of watching while it at the gym with the volume off. And even then, it's never Fox. I believe it's CNN. Not much better, though.

huge profits getting Trump elected generated for CNN, "...no regrets."

Btw, when the electoral college meets tomorrow, there will be demonstrations in all 50 states. Like the days of spontaneous marches after the election, they are profound statements of anger, and we shouldn't be fooled because the media doesn't cover them like they do Trump rallies.

Buyers' remorse - There ARE a certain amount of Trump voters who privately wish they had made another choice on November 8 but will never admit it.

Denial - There are another group of Trump voters who will not admit they made a wrong choice and follow him off the cliff like lemmings. Sure, they don't like Russia any more than anyone else, but if their Fearless Leader is down with the Ruskies, they're cool too.

Castration of the Democratic Party - Instead of behaving like the Loyal Opposition, I notice meek push-back from democrats. No reference to treason, danger to the country, to Europe.

Even if the more vociferous democrats did go on record, they don't control the message at the moment. Trump, republicans, and the media are prepared to turn around the message with claims that non-Trumpers "should get over it" (meaning losing the election) and THEY'RE the treasonous elements in this country. Distract, deny, and put a foot down.
