Woman dies after stray bullet hits her in Bonney Lake shooting

BONNEY LAKE, Wash. -- A woman died Friday after she was hit in the head by a stray bullet late Thursday night. The shooter was firing at someone who was stealing his car, sheriff's deputies said.

A man heard his car being stolen from the front of his house around 11 p.m. The Pierce County Sheriff's Office said the owner fired several shots and thought he hit the car, but the driver got away.

One of the bullets hit the woman, Linda Green, who was in her bed, two blocks away. She was pronounced dead Friday.

A Defensive Gun Use just like the murder of Trayvon Martin.

And we are supposed to rack this tragedy up as the price we must pay for "freedom."

Of course, if you have evidence to the contrary by all means produce it.

Personally, I believe the shooter should be charged with manslaughter.

The shooter was in no danger, and recklessly endangered the public by firing at the guy who was driving away from the scene. Easily deserves a manslaughter charge and the guy should lose his firearm rights for life.

fleeing from a relatively minor theft. Many supported Zman too. There have even been threads on what to say to police. Nice that you two see this as an unjustified shooting, many other gunners are fine with it, even training to shoot people at a distance. If the victim is a minority, the NRA will probably contribute to gunners' defense and give him a medal.
