I love this bit from the script of Five Million Years to Earth (1967)

Professor Bernard Quatermass (Andrew Keir): "The will to survive is an odd phenomenon. Roney, if we found out our own world was doomed, say by climatic changes, what would we do about it?"

Dr. Mathew Roney (James Donald): "Nothing, just go on squabbling like usual."

I was with my brother on the way back from a summer trip to Europe, and we thought what a cool film, and "who had the time to prepare subtitles in Icelandic for all 628 people who were going to see it here?"
