And Murray, who authored "The Bell Curve", has done plenty to keep the poor trapped in poverty and deliver more opportunities to those who need them least.

Screw them both.

Not subtle at all.

The only thing missing was an explicit reference to 'blah' people.

There are dems who contribute to it too. It isn't just Republicans. We have our own work to do as well.

But holy crap this was awful and I didn't hear him called out in the media anywhere. This should have been an act of political suicide. It should be everywhere.

But I think his star is falling fast. His latest story about a school kid choosing dignity over lunch was a total fabrication, and he's getting publicly shellacked for it.

My God, Wisconsin deserves better.

I was saying on another thread about Holocaust denial, it is only a matter of time before things like this (and that) can be packaged in such a way it almost seems palatable. Then, they who promote this always retreat into "I can't be a bigot, some of my best friends are..."

I agree it is blatant racism, but many, sadly, see this as "he is speaking the truth, how is that racist?" I have seen it applied to many other groups; one takes a stereotype and applies in it such a way it seems to be nothing but an "observation." It is infuriating how racist crap like this is easily passed off as "legitimate rhetoric."
