The 7%ers. The people who are beyond human reason.

We all know one or two. Some of us have inlaws like it. We have all had or known one teacher who fit the description.

Now we know that the percent of the population in the US that is completely beyond normal human emotion and completely irrational.

In a recent PPP poll they asked all the normal questions and then asked if putting your dog on the roof for a long car ride was humane and so on.

The 9th question was

Mitt Romney once strapped his dog’s kennel to
the roof of his car for a long car trip. Does this
make you more or less likely to vote for him, or
does it not make a difference?
More likely....................................................... 7%
Less likely ....................................................... 35%
Doesn't make a difference .............................. 55%
Not sure .......................................................... 2%

I can understand people saying it doesn't make a difference, or being unsure, but how f***** up do you have to be to say that is one of the things that actually makes it more likely to vote for somebody?

1. I had that exact same thought earlier when I read that. 7% are just complete sociopaths.

The Zimmermans of this country. And it is so disturbing that they are even free to walk around when their behavior should have been addressed through medical or institutional means long ago.

Q8 In general, do you think it is humane to put
your family dog in a kennel on the roof of your
car for a long car trip, or do you think that is
inhumane?
Humane .......................................................... 14%
Inhumane........................................................ 68%
Not sure .......................................................... 18%

I'm a cat person by nature, but I've had and have dogs...and I know the difference between right and wrong!

7. Well, at least he didn't put it in the trunk. Or wrap it in a blanket and stuff it under the hood.

Or just chuck it on the side of the road and leave it there. I mean, the guy TRIED. What MORE do you want?

If all my neighbors were either abandoning them or shooting them, I might think someone who went to all that trouble might be worth something...

, just in case

9. I don't think most of that 7 percent has anything to do with dogs

I suspect it's more an expression of hostility to the media and liberals, whom some conservatives feel are over-emphasizing the Romney dog story as a way to help Obama and hurt conservatives. Thus what they're really saying is 'screw the liberal media - if they dislike Romney, he must be doing something right.'

Just my opinion of course.

There are also people who don't listen. Don't pay attention in the least. I suspect there are a few in there too.
