I was shocked. Usually, if they publish a political cartoon that is even remotely left-leaning, it's usually several days after the fact, not the next day. I wouldn't be surprised if a fat chunk of the local teabaggers who infest this craphole town are going to cancel their subscriptions over it.

gay or not? If I don't want to know one way or another about anyone's sexuality? It's not my business. Straight, bi, or gay. (And isn't that what is the ultimate goal of equality, that no one cares one way or another?)

It's shouldn't be a big deal, but it is. We need I look at the reasons it is a big deal and work towards making it a non-issue. There is a lot of work to be done.

it would have been even 10 or 20 years ago. Now it's just like "Of course there's a percentage who are gay, and it was just a matter of when someone would speak out about it".

And that's a good thing
