Superstorm Sandy Six Months Later...pics

Superstorm Sandy: Six months later
Congress approved more than $60 billion in Sandy relief funds, and six months after the storm ravaged the Jersey shoreline, huge improvements can be already seen in these before and after photos of the reconstruction efforts. (Photos courtesy of the New Jersey Governor's Office)

who will rebuild about 1/3rd of our house that took a hit from
a large falling tree just as the storm started. The "independant"
adjuster was more of a hindrance than a help. After we gave him
the last round of bids over 3 wks ago, he refused to answer our
calls or emails. We bypassed him and went right to the ins co.
When they talked to him, he (and a contractor HE picked out for
us) said we asked too many questions. We sent the ins co the
18 questions we had. She agreed they were valid and asked us
for copies of the bids we had received. They hadn't received
anything from the independant adjuster whom they had hired -
including a copy of his contractors bid.

Here's hoping we made the right decision! Work is supposed
to start in June or July.
