The MOST POWERFUL steps we can take here in the USA to help the workers in Bangladesh...

...is to bring pressure on our politicians in Washington to:

Renegotiate our "Free Trade" Treaties on a bi-lateral basis with each individual country, and directly connect:
Beneficial Trade Policies with the USA
TO
Global Human Rights, LABOR Rights, and Environmental Protections

OUR "Free Market" Race-to-the-Bottom Trade Policies are partly responsible
for the recent deaths in Bangladesh and throughout the 3rd World.

We CAN use the might of our markets to Make the World Better for EVERYONE,
not just the Global Ownership Class.

This is also the most powerful steps we can take to help
the American Worker become more competitive in the World Markets.

YES. WE. CAN!

The MAJORITY of ALL Americans (Democrats & Republicans) support Fair Trade practices.
The problem is that these MAJORITIES have no voice in the Republican Party,
and have been completely marginalized by the conservative Democratic Party Establishment.
The Republican Party and the Democratic Party Leadership are in complete agreement on our current Race-to-the-Bottom Trade Policies.
