When will enough be enough?

Flight delays get congress to pass emergency legislation within the week. But thousands kicked out of meals-on wheels isn't even a blip on the radar.

A factory collapses in Bangladesh and within days the owners are arrested. A fertilizer plant in the US blows up and it is business as usual. Banks launder Mexican drug money and are fined less than 1% of the profits they made on laundering the money.

Two college students kill 4 people in Boston and the entire state mobilizes thousands of law enforcement officers to track them down. A lone gunman with a semi-automatic rifle kills children and our bloody government can't manage to even pass a bill expanding background checks.

The 6 heirs to Sam Wall's fortune control more money than the bottom half of the population of the US combined, while most of their employees qualify for Food Stamps, but our government wants to cut Social Security so that it can preserve tax cuts for the wealthy.

And the list goes on. Rachael Maddow pointed out that you can be refused passage on an airline because you are on the State Department Terrorist Watch List, leave the airport, and go buy up to 50 lbs of black power with no questions asked and no check of anything other than if you have enough money.

How long are people going to sit around like sheep and let this country destroy itself and its people?

It's time to start working on Congressional races, identify good candidates who can win and support them. Beyond that, I'm not sure what actions might change what you're talking about. Electing a Democratic majority in the House would, though.

That's where I'm putting my energy. How about you?

GOTV 2014!
