http://www.12newsnow.com/story/22094875/contract-employees-taken-to-hospital-after-incident-at-chevron-facility-in-port-arthur
A spokesperson for the Cheveron-Phillips Port Arthur polyethylene facility has confirmed to 12News that an incident happened which resulted in the injury of several contract employees.

Spokesperson Melanie Samuelson told 12News there was a fire at the facility around 4 a.m. Saturday.

"We are still trying to account for employees and securing the area," said Samuelson by phone.

"We regret that this occurred and our thoughts are with those who are injured," said Samuelson.

What regulations were dumped or never initiated or not enforced that caused this fire?

Please be very specific.

of course the fingers won't be pointed that way.

However, I posted on the day of the West explosion when it first happened and I had been watching the refinery activity that week...ie, explosions that nobody could find...etc..(specifically see post 8) and specifically that day...a major explosion that was overlooked by the Boston Marathon murders and the West fire.

I can pretty much guarantee that corners are cut when nobody is watching and people are dying.

... the accusation that deregulation caused that fire is totally unfounded.

that this fire...like the one last week...won't be investigated...so, technically you are correct. There is no proof. There won't be. Ever.
It's not how we roll in Texas.

Unfettered profits. Business climate.

And don't hold your breath on anything coming out of the West incident either.

However, the ONLY way this will change is to keep the cockroaches in the light of day.

But you would prefer to just let "the authorities" deem "nothing to see here...move on".

Gotcha.

Just because you are unaware of the investigation does not mean the investigation doesn't exist. Hells bells! It's all over the news, and it's all over DU!

This is insane. You have nothing to offer but socialist claptrap.

I'm done here. You have the last word.

Deregulation may not have anything to do with this, then again. Bottom line, it's a protected entity

If you can't beat them, buy into them.
