Three arrested as hundreds protest Bush library dedication
George W. Bush and Dick Cheney were arrested Thursday morning during a protest near the Southern Methodist University campus.
Sort of.
Three men, two wearing papier-mâché bobble-heads depicting the former president and vice president, were taken into custody.
Iraq war veteran Gary Egelston of Fort Worth, Dennis Trainor of Groton, Mass., and Bill Perry of Philadelphia all face misdemeanor charges for defying police orders and walking in the Central Expressway service road near Mockingbird Lane.
They were among about 200 people who gathered Thursday morning as a counterpoint to the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Center.

There should have been millions there. With a representation for the Iraqi people whose country is destroyed. It's amazing how our MSM doesn't cover what has been going on in that country to which we 'brought democracy'.
They destroyed a country, grabbed as much money as they could, and are now planning yet another crime scene in Syria.
That headline should have been real.
Maybe some day.

(193 posts)For just a second, before I clicked on the thread, I let myself imagine that the ICC actually has teeth and had somehow swooped down on these two and carted them off. Although to be honest they would have needed to arrest everyone else in the room, too, including our sitting President.
That is what the world really needs. A war crimes and human rights violations court with special forces types as court officers that can just drop in on anyone, anytime, anywhere, and make an arrest, then cart them off to be fairly and publicly tried. Broadcast, of course. I wouldn't want to miss the look on Henry Kissinger's face if his war crimes against Chile ever catch up with him.
