For me, there is one major successful outcome of the Dumbya presidency....

It drove me to the haven of relative sanity, high intellect and liberal discussions that we all know and love as Democratic Underground in 2004 following the second fishy election (I wish I had looked and found it after the first one!)

Been happy as a clam here ever since!

Loved coming here to meet up with many kindred spirits trying so hard to navigate the horror of those 8 years of Cheney/Bush. Very quickly, I was addicted to DU and remain so to this day. Need my fix at least twice a day.

If it wasn't for Dubya, a lot of us wouldn't be here at DU.

Thanks for keeping me and a lot of others sane through eight years of hell.
