Will Mayor Bloomberg give lots of his money to help beat Senator Mitch Mc Connell?

I don't know. It will cost a lot to ultimately defeat him. Now it looks possilbe. But "November 14" is a long way away.
Just asking.. Do you think he will help bankroll Mc Connel's Democratic opponent?

It's a shame Ashley Judd got scared off.

And we need to defeat Rand Paul in 16.

It ranks as number 11 with 47.7% of the state's population owning firearms as of 2007.

An anti-gun candidate would face an uphill battle against an incumbent Senator in a state with a high percentage of gun owners.

Bloomberg may be popular in the Big Apple but is viewed as a "nanny mayor" in many states. His money may make a difference but chances are it will just prove a bad investment. Incumbent Senators rarely lose reelection.

Bloomberg lives in New York.

And assuming he could run there, what chance does he have of winning an election in Kentucky?

Did I miss something?

Blomberg would be a distraction and a life raft for McConnell. Democrats in Kentucky need to find a person that shapes the political battlefield well and is a tireless campaigner who gets out and meet people, even people that don't agree with him or her.

I find it stunning how ignorant some right-wing people from the South can be. I read a comment by one earlier this evening that public schools in the northeast aren't very good. That "fact" according to the idiot was stunning to me since every reputable organization rate northeast schools at the top of the heap, year in and year out. Any person that is willfully ignorant has no chance to improve his or her life.
