The accused in Canadian terror plot says he doesn't recognize Canadian Criminal Code, says

its "not a Holy Book".

Standing in the glass-walled prisoner’s box in the cramped basement courtroom, where every seat was taken, Mr. Esseghaier then calmly told the court he does not recognize Canada’s Criminal Code.

“First of all, my comment is the following because all of those conclusions was taken out based on Criminal Code,” he said.

“All of us we know that this Criminal Code is not holy book, it’s just written by set of creations and the creations – they’re not perfect because only the Creator is perfect so if we are basing our judgment ... we cannot rely on the conclusions taken out from these judgments.”

The Justice of Peace thanked him for his remarks but added that “it doesn’t matter in this court. ... You save that for another court.”

We should banish them all on an island far away and let them kill one another for Jebus, Allah or any of their imaginary friends.

Yeah, I'm sure the Canadian courts will be all like "Oh, in that case you're free to go."

He'll avoid martyrdom and rot in jail forever, serving as a cautionary tale for other would-be terrorists hoping to get on the fast track to Paradise.

Thanks for playing Esseghaier. But Canada is not Egypt, Saudi Arabia or the wilds of many countries where the government or ruling tribes institute laws based on religious beliefs. While you're rotting in a cell look up the word "secular."

...not just for its' incredulity but for its implicit promotion of the War against Iran being carried out by the Oil Industry USA.

To begin with, the idea that the RCMP are capable of uncovering a terrorist plot on their own, simply isn't believable. They have to be pointed at a target.

I've known educated and intelligent Muslims, studying and teaching in Canada. They're all disgruntled and cranky around white non-muslims, like me. Who they really piss off, are the Christians who take their faith a little too seriously, in my opinion. This guy sounds just like those muslims whose personality requires them to be arrogant gas-bags.

And the fellow Muslims that tipped off the police, probably just had enough of this guys personality. "...and he never shut up about how bad the rail service was between Montreal and New York, officer."

Stories like this have only one purpose and that is to further the interests of the American Oil Industry. I'm ashamed that my country's sovereign police force has quit and gone to work for them.
