Since the RW'ers insist on rewriting history by claiming that the Dems "voted for war"...let's look at the count...shall we?
Dems: Not even close in the House and pretty well split in the Senate.
Repubs: Landslide for war.
GOP war and a GOP faliure.
Dems who voted against:
21 in the Senate
126 in the House

95% of the rational, compassionate, just and righteous votes came from Democrats....that says alot. I was so proud of our then Senator Bingaman for his 'no' vote in this state (New Mexico) that is so dependent on defense dollars.
