Listening to media talk about how the boston Bomber was able to access info quickly

easily. I even remember the first season of the TV show MacGuyver He showed how to make a bomb from a bike and some kids mimic the show. There was talk about canceling the show and the remaining seasons made sure it didn't show all the details for what Mac invented next to get out of trouble.

My bring this up is that the information is all around. Hell a kids basic chemistry set has the ability to cause danger. Does this mean we start censoring and banning knowledge OR do we educate people have our security nets such as mental health more available to help those who need it.

My concern about hearing this type of talk makes me worry about Laws taking steps to censor or ban thought. I'm just saying there is a balance and I'm worried about knee jerk reaction.

...it used to be practically mandatory to teach kids how to make gunpowder. The original DuPont powder mills are still one of Delaware's main historical sites, and every kid comes out of there thinking "now I gotta get my hands on some sulphur, saltpeter and charcoal..."
