http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/23/max-baucus-retiring_n_3138758.htmlSo what excuse does he have now for voting against his own party and the majority of American voters?
Let's see what kind of cushy job he gets from those he betrayed us too.

(4,340 posts)but are there any more? The Democrats either have someone to run or they don't. In red states like Texas, if you have an R after your name, you automatically get 45% of the vote no matter what (see Cruz, Ted.)
but Texas is turning purple.

(4,340 posts)They have two Democratic senators and a Democratic governor. We haven't elected a Democrat state-wide in nearly 20 years. (And that last Democrat was Bob Bullock, who we really can thank for giving us George W. Bush. Bullock, as Lieutenant Governor, had the power to make or break Bush, and he made him.)

(3,127 posts)Interestingly, there are more Democrats with statewide name recognition than Republicans.
Other than Congresman Daines, the best known Montana Republicans are Conrad Burns (loser) and Denny Rehburg (loser).
