Thanks to personhood, women who do any harm to their unborn fetus or zygote could be in legal trouble. And it would be a classic catch 22.

With onerous TRAP laws closing female health clinics women face a tough choice. Women who cannot afford medical care or insurance face risk with no access to prenatal care. If anything bad happens women face possible prosecution.

Regardless of the details of the law aggressive DA's would be tempted to make an example of women who intentionally or unintentionally harmed the unborn fetus.

Personhood opens up a truly vicious Pandora's box for women in Kansas. And it poses a real dilemma for doctors and health practitioners who could be charged as accessories if health care were inadequate or deemed improper by the authorities.

Small government is only for the big guy, the rich or corporations. Big intrusive government is only for the little guy who cannot fight back.
