The Stockholm Syndrome

This is just my opinion. But I believe the younger brother in the Boston bombing was afraid of his older brother. He respected him out of fear.

The older brother, in my opinion, was a violent person. Boxing was an escape for him.

In no way can we excuse the younger brother for his actions. However, I think he was in a similar situation as Patricia Hearst after her kidnapping and also the members of the Manson family. They were controlled by a strong personality which they respected or feared.

I cannot believe that the youngest brother really bought into killing innocent people in the name of religion, after growing up in America for the last 10 years. I can only imagine the verbal abuse that he might have taken from his older brother?

I could be wrong but this is just my opinion.

1. I think you'll find out that he still has those opinions now that his brother is dead

Until his lawyers can get him to shut up, that is. Which should happen about now.

He was all on his own for most of the shootout in Watertown, and he was shooting. He is this person.

It's not like he was under his brother's direct control.

and that's what's keeping the Usual Suspects from howling for an immediate DP without trial.

Complete investigation is needed to break down the kid's bluster and find out if the only close relative was also bullying him into doing all this stuff.

ETA: the kid is not innocent. He will do prison time. However, if he's another of the victims in this whole thing, howling "off with his head!" seems wrong.

will be allowed to witness it, even if only in transcript, if a close trial is dictated.
